Stewart Fotheringham to visit Chongqing University and keynote Population Geography conference

SDSC Director A. Stewart Fotheringham will travel to China in mid-June 2026 for two invited academic engagements.

At Chongqing University, he will give a presentation and receive an Honorary Professorship. From Chongqing, he will travel to Nanjing to deliver a keynote address at the Population Geography Conference.

The visit reflects continuing international recognition of Fotheringham's contributions to spatial analysis and provides another opportunity for SDSC's work in spatial data science to reach global geography audiences.
