Chen-Lun Kao publishes new Spatial Statistics article on local spatial context
SDSC graduate research assistant Chen-Lun Kao has published a new article in Spatial Statistics, co-authored with Mehak Sachdeva and A. Stewart Fotheringham.
The paper, "Uncovering Local Spatial Context via Multiscale Geographically Weighted Binomial Regression," appears in Spatial Statistics 74, 101000. The study advances multiscale geographically weighted binomial regression as a way to examine how local spatial context shapes binary outcomes, extending SDSC's work on local modeling and spatial heterogeneity.
For SDSC, the publication connects graduate student research, faculty collaboration, and continued methodological development in geographically weighted modeling.
